A Flying Start for Star for Life in Swedish First Premiership

It was a success right from the start when Star for Life asked Malmö FF football team in the Swedish first premiership for support. During the home match against Gefle the other week, the fans bought Star for Life pins for 20.000 SEK.

Great success when collecting money for Star for Life. The first home game raised 20.000 SEK to Star for Life.

The goal is to raise 200.000 SEK before the end of season – enough money to run the Star for Life project in a southern African school for a whole year. When Star for Life hosted the match against Gefle, around fifty pupils from three high schools in the Malmö area (Sundsgymnasiet, Procivitas and Malmö Borgarskola), spread over the arena. They got a great reception from the audience.

The following weekend, the first-graders from Sundsgymnasiet carried out one-day charitable work for the benefit of Star for Life. They managed to earn between 50.000 and 70.000 SEK, money that will go towards the school's friendship project and Star for Life.
